Strong-Willed

Giving a nod to Rick Katie watched him as he left before she moved down in the bed once again and put her arm around Jason resting her head on his shoulder. Closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep, her body, her mind so tired it was all she could think of doing.

Sitting with Mick on the small couch Rosetta gripped his hand a little tighter hearing about Katie and Jason. She felt so bad for them and so helpless. She just wished there was something else they could really do.

"Do we really have to just sit back and maybe watch them die?"

Rosetta let out a sigh and shook her head. She didn't like the idea of this at all and possibility losing Katie...and Jason both. But she also knew how strong-willed her niece was. This was their desition and she would rather it happen with Rick then them trying to go off and do it alone.

"I don't like it, but I trust you Rick and if you think that is what's best...I agree."

Getting to the races with Zan and parking Destiny got out and followed him. Taking in everything she had to admit this was really different from her normal quiet nights. Even when she was with Chance it was mostly spent at home.

Hearing someone call for Zan Destiny looking in that direction. Giving a smile she just stood next to him and waited to be introduced. This was his scene, and his friends he wasn't going to just butt in she would wait. Destiny couldn't help but blush at the mention of being Angelic. She never thought she was all that but it was kinda nice hearing someone say that.

Being introduced Destiny returned the handshake still holding her smile. She was nervous but at the same time kind of excited too. This was different, and at this point in life different was good. She wanted to try and live a little.

"Hi Jett, Nice to meet you."

Listing to both men go back and forth again Destiny did feel a little out of place but that was because she had no idea what they were talking about. It was still nice listing to them though and trying to peace everything together.

Looking back to Zan, then to Jett and back to Zan again Destiny gave a nod. She didn't know Jett, but he seemed to be an ok guy, and Zan trusted him, and she had no reason to believe him at the moment.

"Yeah I think I would be ok with that. Will you be back after the race?"
