Standing in the security room Sam was dressed in a pair of jeans, her books, and a nice shirt. Her gun was tucked safely behind her and would be covered by the jacket she would have on. Not only for her safety but for Aaron's too. Who knew if anyone else from the vigilante group would be after him and she wanted to be prepared.
"Alright...I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Thanks again Hal for coming."
Not saying much more Sam left the room and went to where Aaron was. Tapping on the door she opened it and smiled. She knew he would be more than excited about getting out of there and was happy to see he was already, ready.
"Hey Hey.Ready to blow this popsicle stand and play some darts? I remember there was a certain wager on who was better."
Turning and heading out the door Sam smiled and called over her shoulder.
"Come on slow poke, let's go."
Taking her bread and sopping up some of the sauce on her plate Destiny thought for a long moment. Most guys she had thought of who were sleeping around always turned her off. Maybe it was because she knew they never would change, but there was something in Zan's eyes when he said he didn't want that anymore she trusted.
"We all make mistakes. Correcting them is really all that matters."
Hearing Zan say he would punch anyone who said differently Destiny could feel some color come to her cheeks. She wasn't sure why but hearing he would defend her like that, it felt nice. Chance he been her bodyguard but this was different.
"Maybe if you keep telling me that, I'll start to believe it. Thank you by the way. I dont know what it is, but you have a way of making me feel really good."
