Sitting on the hood of her car with her legs crossed she just listened to Eli. Hearing about Thunder burned Ryan up inside and seeing him race the newbies upset her even more. If he kept this up soon the newbies wouldn't even race anymore because there was no point. They couldn't learn if someone was constantly beating them who unfortunately had more skill.
Hearing Eli mentions about them ganging up on Thunder Ryan looked to her brother and then looked to Hunter for a long moment. She hadn't raced again yet and honestly, it still made her nervous thinking about it. The people here needed a hero though to take Thunder out, but could she really help?
"I haven't even driven again to know if I am still good or not. I might hinder more than help."
Leaning back and just looking up at the sky Ryan thought for a long moment as silence rained. Being here at the races again felt like home, even all the noise felt good. She had missed it, and she was starting to miss racing...but was she really that good?
"First things first though I think all three of us need to help get Zan's car working again and I have to practice before I try to take anyone on. Thunder does need to be taught a lesson before he brings the wrong idea to the races. This is a safe haven for a lot of people, I don't want to see it go down the tubes."
Sam was happy to see Aaron was pleased with the food too. This really was one of the best places to get some good bar food. Hearing Aaron's comment Sam chuckled. Well, at least she could keep him guessing.
"When I was in the academy I came here a lot more. It was the place to hang out after a long day. Now I only come every once in a while to get some food, play darts, or just have a beer. Nothing fancy, but just to relax."
Popping another cheese into her mouth Sam leaned back in her chair and watched as Aaron took his shot again. Even using his other hand he was still good. Sam didn't mind though as long as they had a good time.
Taking the darts and taking her own turn Sam shot twice not even coming close. Looking to Aaron she rolled her eyes and grinned.
"So you are going to beat me unless..."
Stepping really close to the dart board Sam lifting the dark and throwing it...or rather placing it, it went right into the bullseye. Stepping back and lifting her heads in the air she fake cheered.
"Oh yeah...I'm good."
Taking the darts off the board and sitting down again she couldn't help the sheepish look on her face.
