Bee

Looking up as someone else joined them for the meal Brooke looked up and gave a smile returning the handshake. At least she wasn't the odd one out now. He was not too bad looking either honestly.

"Hi, It's nice to meet you, Tal."

Not sure what else to say not knowing him all that well Brooke went back to her food and fallen silent again. Just listing to everyone talk, joke, every now and then she cracked a smile too. It was nice to be here.

"Hey Tal, nice to see you joining us."

Scarlet smiled at Tal. She wanted to make everything less strange and just roll right into it. Ryan had Hunter an she was happy but she had to wonder if it was still odd for him to be here, but she was going to act like it was nothing. It was progress that he was here and now, so that was a good thing.

The time went by slowly and everyone laughed and told storys. Ryan kept her position in Hunter's lap because it was comfortable. Though having Tal there was a little awkward she was happy he had come.

Finishing her bite of watermelon heard the buzzing of a bee and stiffened. It not she didn't like them, but she was allergic and the last thing she wanted right now was a trip to the hospital. Continuing to hear the bee she followed it with her eyes as it landed on her hand. Not being able to take it she jumped up from the table.

   "Ak...dumb bee..."

Trying to get away from it as it seemed to follow her Brook hadn't taken not to Tal's foot and tripped. She was doomed now as she seemingly fell slow motion. Now she would have to go to the hospital for a broken arm.

Seeing the look on Zan's face when he took the locket Destiny could see how much it really meant to him. It wasn't something that was just a mear trinket. Maybe it was a lost love, no matter she was happy to have to give it back to him if it was that important.

Taking a sip of her Dr. Pepper Destiny let the cold liquid just sit in her mouth for a moment before swallowing it. Dr. Pepper was her weakness. She loved the taste of it, but she didn't keep much at home.

Looking at Zan she nodded. It looked like his car had got messed up pretty bad from the crash. She could only imagen what needed to be fixed on it.

"I think coming to see you race is definitely a must. I'd like to actually see you finish. How many times have you crashed?"
