Scarlet couldn't help but laugh at Eli. She would never tire of his affection. It always felt nice to just know she was loved. Even if sometimes it was a little embarrassing. She wouldn't tell him to stop though..not ever.
"Alright, I'm gonna take her in to introduce them and then I'll come back out to help."
Having Brook follow her inside Scarlet smiled seeing Hunter putting some eggs into a pot and Ryan cutting up a few different veggies.
"Hey, Guys...this is my cousin Brooke. Brooke this is Ryan here, and her boyfriend Hunter."
Looking up at what she was doing Ryan smiled. She had heard a little about Scarlet's cousin from Eli so it was nice to finally meet her.
"Hey Scarlet, Hey Brook its nice to finally meet you."
Smiling at Ryan and Hunter Brook gave a wave. Scarlet had told her about Eli, and his sister and she were excited and nervous to meet them. It would be nice though to make some new friends. From what she was told they seemed like a nice group.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you guys. Do you need any help with anything?"
Thinking for a second Ryan looked at Hunter and it seemed he was doing ok with that.
"You can cut some watermelon if you'd like. It's in the fridge."
Seeing Brooke was well taken care of with Hunter and Ryan she smiled. She was happy her cousin had agreed to come and could meet some new people. She was starting to get worried about her being home all the time. Unfortunately, she knew how bad her self-esteem was right now too. She hoped being around the right people would help that too.
Slipping outside again and coming alongside Eli again she gave him a little nudge with her elbow.
"Now that we are alone for the moment...how about that kiss?"
"I'm pretty fond of meat lovers myself, with extra bacon. I'm always open to try something new though."
Reaching into her purse Destiny moved some stuff around for a moment before pulling the locked out gently and holding it up for Zan. She still wondered about the picture on the inside but wasn't too sure to be asking about it quite yet. She didn't want to pry to fast, and if it was a girlfriend they wouldn't be sitting here now...right?
"As promised, I better give it to you now before I forget. It's a very beautiful locket."
Looking up as Justin came into her office Hope let out a small sigh. She had tried a little herself with Chance and didn't seem to get much of anywhere either. It felt like running head first into a brick wall, and it sucked more having the feeling of not being able to help someone.
"I feel like and I dare to even say it...he almost has an unhealthy obsession with Destiny. Now without her...he's lost."
Leaning back in her chair for a long moment she thought. She was honestly happy Chance was still here. If he was taken anywhere help he'd get help, but not as deeply as they wanted to help.
"We have got to find something else he cares about too, either that or trying putting him on a mild medication and see if that helps. Do you think if Destiny came an talked to him if woul give him that spark of Hope he needs?"
