Sand

Pulling into her driveway and just sitting there for a long moment Destiny let out a content sigh. Maybe the night would bring peace and rest since her day has been pretty good. She hadn't planned anything more than bringing Zan the brownies she made but she was happy for the last minute invitation.

Opening the car door and making the interior light come on something shiny caught her eyes. Bending over to the passenger side floor she picked up a very pretty locket. Opening it and seeing the picture of the very pretty woman inside she realizes it was not hers. Maybe it was Zan, or even Jetts?!

Pulling out her phone to text Zan she saw the time and figured he was more than likely sleeping, or trying to sleep at the moment. She would wait and just text him in the morning. Even if it was Jett's he could get it to him for her.

....Night went quickly and morning came. Destiny felt not so bad this morning remembering the good night she had, had. Making herself some breakfast and coffee she just relaxed for a little bit. Today she wasn't sure what he had planned but she was going to try to make the best of it. If she kept her mind busy she couldn't think of Chance. It hurt to much still to do that.

Noon rolled around, Destiny wasn't sure what time Zan woke up but at least this would be a safe time to say he was more than likely awake now. Pulling out her phone she found his number and opened a text.

Hey Zan, it's Destiny. I found a locked on the floor in my car
and it's not mine. I thought maybe it belonged to you or Jett.
Just wanted to let you know in case one of you guys were looking
for it.

Just keeping her head back and her eyes closed Katie soaked in the good feelings Jason was giving her, but she could feel his worry too. Had she really been asleep for that long? Did what they had tried worked? She couldn't tell at the moment.

I...I can't remember anything. I remember going to the field with you, and I remember exchanging our emotions like normal...but I can't can't remember anything after that. Are you ok?

Keeping her hand in Jason's she finally opened her eyes. Whatever had happened She was happy she as still here, and she was awake. Looking at Jason she gave a small smile before turning her head to look at Rick. She was thankful he had been there too. What would they have done if he wasn't?

"I feel like I've had a ton of sand in my mouth."
