Rest

Following once again Destiny didn't mind just following along with the guys. Since she didn't know her way around Destiny was ok with just following and taking everything in. The last thing she wanted was to en up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Walking back to the truck Destiny stopped next to Jett as Zan went off the path. Just listing to Jett as he talked. Zan must be wanting to fight the guy who had made him crash like Jett had mentioned before. Starting forward again and then stopping as someone else came up and stopped Zan. She didn't hear the whole conversation but she was happy someone else stepped in.

Destiny couldn't help but laugh again as Jett mentioned food on the way back to his truck. She thought it was kind of funny he had a one track mind and right now that track was food. Driving back to her own car Destiny sat quietly just taking in more of the sites. She really had, had a nice time.

   "With you speedsters, I think I would be better off having one of you ride with me so I don't get to lost. Either of you is fine, just know I have pepper spray and I know how to use it."

Destiny grinned looking at both the guys. She actually felt really comfortable with them and didn't feel like she needed to worry. It was strange that she had just met them and yet she felt so comfortable. Was it just because she was that lonely? Was that really smart? She wasn't sure but so far her gut hadn't been wrong on these two and it was almost like they were open books. So she'd just go with it for now.

Just sitting with Jason Katie tried to relax the best she could. Feeling Jason start to open up she pulled what she could. It was the normal pull and it hurt a little but Katie kept pulling. Keeping locked with Jason's she new the emotions were getting more intense as the glow did too.  

As the emotions grew, even more, Katie kept pulling it hurt she did her best to keep pulling what she could as her hands tightened around Jason's. Closing her eyes tight a tear ran down her cheek. The pain was almost unbearable but this was for Jason, he needed this, they needed this she had to keep going. 

When the emotions start to slow Katie's body relaxed but the emotional push had been too much. Katie hurt all over, and she was beyond tired, she had been felt like way before. Trying her best to move hearing Jason's voice she couldnt...she couldn't lift her head, or open her eyes. Panic started to set in and she knew for a moment Jason would feel it.

I love you, Jason, now and forever. No matter what don't ever forget that.

Using the little strength she had let to get that out to Jason Katie's body went limp as she slumped to the ground. She just wanted to rest now, her body needed her to sleep. As she drifted off a small flow of emotions still went to Jason, thought it really didn't have any feeling to it, it was there to prove at least Katie was alive.
