Argument Sake

Destiny chuckled as she flipped over the chicken and then moved to the side to stir the noodles and sauce. They were almost done, and the chicken was almost partly cooked. Once that was done all she needed to do was put it in the pan, put some cheese on top an then let it melt in the oven while the bread toasted as well.

"You can drive fast but can't cook huh?"

Looking over her shoulder at Zan she smiled. It felt different having another man close to her like Zan was right now. Not bad, or odd but different. Chance was a cuddler but just something about this felt...different and Destiny wasn't sure why but she liked it.

"If you want to throw the salad together I don't think you could burn that, and if you do...we are millionaires."

Moving from the stove and to one of the cupboards she grabbed own a big bowl and handed it too him along with some salad tongs.

"All the salad fixings are in the fridge in the crisper. I wasn't sure what you liked in your salad so I made sure to get lots of options."

"You are right I more than likely am not, but I still can't help but feel like I am. Just ones of those things, my mind tells me one thing but that's not how it is at all."

Brooke was thankful Tal was going to keep an eye out for her. If she could have eyes in all different places then she was sure to find something.

Time passed all too quickly and Brooke could hardly believe it was lunch time already. Sitting down on the ground and playing a little with Eva she couldn't help the growling that grew in her own stomach. Maybe skipping breakfast this morning had not been the best of ideas.

"Any food sounds amazing right about now. but for argument sake, let's get...pizza."
