Number

"Well as long as you and Jett are around I don't think I would mind coming a little more often."

As the chatter continued Destiny eat all she could but there was just simply too much there for her to finish it off alone. Getting a box and putting the rest of it in to go she was satisfied but the night had gone too fast. Maybe that's how she knew she had, had a good time. The hours just slipped away.

Wondering outside and giving a wave to Jett Destiny just shook her head. He was quite a person but he was nice, and not like many other people she had ever met. He might be different but she liked him.

"If it hurts too much he'll learn his lesson...maybe."

Turning back to Zan she smiled searching his face for a long moment. Turning and opening her car door she reached in and grabbed an old envelope along with a pen. Jotting down her number she figured it was time to just give it to him. She'd already spent a little time together and she felt like she could trust him.

"Here, now you have my number too. Now we don't have to keep meeting at the Griller. You can just call or text me if you want to hang out."

As Jason called for Rick Katie could feel the pressure in her chest growing. It felt like she couldn't breathe and she continued to gasp for air. Keeping her hand in Jason's she couldn't help but squeeze it tighter. If she had been thinking right she would have thought for sure she was breaking Jason's hand.

Hearing Rick's gentle words Katie did her best to try and flow herself. To pace her breathing in and out. It was hard but she tried...in...out...in out.

Finally, as she continued to breathe her tight grip on Jason's hand loosened just a little. Leaning back in the bed finally she closed her eyes as she just continued the slow breathing. Everything felt so fuzzy.

What happened? I feel like I was hit by a truck. I hurt all over.
