World

Destiny smiled at Zan and his comment of where he found her. He was on a different path to better things. Maybe she was meant to meet Zan that night. New friends, new things, new experiences. Maybe it was time to step out of the shelter and live in the light.

Looking at both men as they started to talk once more she took in everything they were talking about. Hearing Zan talks to her about Eli, and his sister that raced Destiny nodded that she was listing to them.

"Which ones were Hunter and Ryan tonight? I actually think it's kind of cool a woman races too. Keeps you boys in line."

As the conversation changed once again Destiny got the hint that Zan wasn't all that happy with Jett. She was happy though as a fight would not have been the highlight of her night at all, and maybe late night dinner might not have even happened. But she wouldn't but in now if they were going to hash it out she would just enjoy her fries.

Looking up as Zan talked to her again Destiny sucked in the string of cheese that was hanging out of her mouth. Grinning and thinking for a moment while she chewed Destiny finally gave a nod as she searched Zan's face for a long moment. She thought it was nice he really wanted to know what she thought and maybe he even wanted her to come again?

"It was different. Definitely, a whole new world then what I am used too. Not sure my nerves could handle going every night, but I would like to go again. It was fun and I liked doing something different."

The room she had been in had been her place of rest for how long Katie didn't know. Had it been days or hours. Time stood still here and Katie didn't know, but as the hours ticked by the door finally opened and the light started to stream in.

Letting her eyes flutter open Katie saw Jason and smiled just a little. About to say something the breath caught in Katie's throat as her chest felt so tight as she gasped for air.

J...where is Rick? My chest feels so tight...I don't feel so good. I need his help.
