Time

Brooke smiled at Tal. She was happy he said she could help. Really her days were starting to get boring and she was tired of living in the dark. Maybe this would be the first set at getting out and actually living again. 

   "I haven't been around many dogs but I don't mind them. I bet they are beautiful, Zidan is pretty handsome himself."

Watching Brooke and Tale talk and then looking to Eli, Scarlet smiled. Her cousin needed friends, and Tale needed a friend too. Maybe this was a new friendship and if it was at least Scarlet new it was with someone trustworthy.

Just listing to Zan as he talked again Destiny searched his eyes. What she found was pain, maybe even a deeper pain than her own and it twisted her heart.  She was intrigued to know more but refrained from asking anything else. Not now, not with that look she saw.  

   "A movie sounds great. "

Maybe one day he would tell her the rest of the story, but she would let him do that in his own time.
