Hot

Coming around the side of the house Scarlet wondered up onto the porch while Eli was cooking with some bags of chips. Setting them down on the little picnic table she wondered up behind Eli and put her arms around him. Standing on her tip toes she leaned her chin over his shoulder giving him a kiss on the cheek.

   "Mmmm...is it hot in here or is it just the food cooking?"

Pulling away Scarlet looks to her cousin and then back to Eli. She didn't want to make her feel too uncomfortable and She hoped Eli didn't mind bringing her.

   "Eli, this is my cousin Brooke. Brooke, this is Eli. I felt bad leaving her at home again, so I hope you don't mind I had her tag along."

Brooke gave a small shy smile at Eli and a wave. She hadn't planned on going anywhere today but she felt like it was finally time to start living again. At least coming with her cousin it wouldn't be to many people, and she wouldn't feel alone at the same time.

   "Hi, its nice to meet you."

Looking over her shoulder at Hunter Ryan just nodded her head a little. Eli was pretty amazing and he sure did put up with a lot. She was happy he still like Hunter and was willing to give him another chance. Having his support meant everything in the world to her.

   "He surprises me more and more every day."

Seeing the carrot that was sticking out of Hunter's mouth Ryan grinned as she leaned in and took a bite of the carrot at the same time giving Hunter a kiss. Pulling away and chewing the carrot Ryan's eyes twinkled.

   "Can you grab the eggs and put them in that bowling water for me? I gotta get them cooking so I can make the deviled eggs."

   "I don't think you did. You look great, and smell good too."

Destiny couldn't help the color that came to her cheeks. Zan really did look nice she couldn't help but just take in him. As strange as it sounded black suited him, and helped his eyes stand out more. 

  "Oh hey, Carson."

Destiny smile as Carson came over and gave a wave. She had forgotten Carson worked here. She didn't know him all that well but they had met a few times at the Elite. 

   "I'll have a Dr. Pepper please light ice."

Looking to Zan she smiled again wondering what his drink of choice was. Another coke, or something different. She couldn't help but wonder if he was a creature of habit, or liked to explore different things time to time.
