Dr. Pepper

Destiny gave a little wave to Zan after wishing him good luck and watching him walk away.  Turning back to Jett she smiled and gave a nod. She could tell this was a lot different than what she was used  to and they had hardly moved even in an inch. Destiny took everything in though and stayed close to Jett as they weaved through people.

As the stopped when someone yell Destiny could see the bristled look on Jett's face and her eyes followed him to the group of people. At the guy talking stepped closer Destiny moved behind Jett just a little but did her best to stand tall. She wondered though why Jett didn't stand up for himself and he just let those people talk to him like that. Maybe he didn't want to start a fight.

Being guided away Destiny followed Jett again. Taking in his warning about the biker gang she would keep that as a mental note. So far what she had noticed was there were a lot of different groups of people here. The ones ready for fights, the ones looking for fights, the more mellow, and the roudy, the good and the bad. It was kind of interesting seeing them all come together in one place.

"Well...I don't think they should make fun of you. You seemed like a pretty nice person to me. I think people just pick on you because of their own insecurities."

Destiny didn't know how stuff like this worked here but that was why most people did pick on others. Because it was there own self they didn't like and could see in someone else they did it better.

Following again and stopping at the pickup Destiny grinned at Jett before reaching for a beer. Last moment though her hand moved to the left and grabbed a Dr. Pepper. Popping the top she gave a small smile again.

"If there is Dr. Pepper, that's what I will always take. Now if there wasn't...maybe I would have considered the beer more."

Really no matter what She would have turned down the beer for one reason or another. She never much liked the taste of it, at least the ones she had tried before. Not to mention she did have to drive still tonight and she was pretty avid about not drinking and driving even if it was just one.

Standing Rosetta gave a nod to Rick. She knew her brother was worried about Katie they all were. She didn't totally agree with this either but it was even a glimpse of hope it was worth trying.

Stepping outside and coming up alone side Jeff Rosetta linked arms with him and rested her head on his shoulder for a long moment. Finally, she moved a little to look up at him.

"It's not your fault you know. Everything that's happening you can't blame yourself."

Shifting and sitting down on the step she waited for Jeff to join her before she took his hand in her own and just held it. She didn't understand why Katie and Jason's life had to be so hard like this. They were far to young to have to go through stuff like this.

"Rick is only trying to help. I know you don't want to lose Katie, I don't want to lose her either but if we don't do something, if we hold time still, we might lose her anyways. She is stronger then we think she is...she does take after you anyways and stubborn as all get out. I see more of you in her every day. "
