Never New

As Kirk continued to talk Adison cocked her head to one side. She was sorry to hear about how Barnes was using Kirk just to shut down the Elite. She knew that must not feel good, and something like that really would affect Kirk a lot. He had put a lot of heart into working here, but he also had things so wrong at the moment too.

   "Why don't you let even here decide if they want you are not, not you decided for them that they don't."

Just quiet for a second the look on Adison's face changed to a more sympathetic look. She felt bad Kirk felt like there was no other way. 

    "You know...all the years I have known you I never would have pegged you to just give up like that. You always trudged through everything, every challenge you faced and came out on the other side. No matter the outcome, no matter what might happen you always faced it head on. That was the guy who caught my eye at the Academy, and I know he's still in there somewhere too."

Hearing Jett move around Destiny was happy he was at least awake. She wouldn't bother him while he got up and ready for the day. Finally hearing his voice she turned in his direction and smiled, it was more than likely he would be waking up confused but slowly she knew things would come back to him.

   "Zan went to work so I came by to help with your hang over. He got you last night from the bar, you were pretty messed up. Come get some coffee, breakfast will be ready soon."
