Movie Day

   "I'm sure happy you are alive and that counts to me."

Katie smiled but she could read all the emotion on her dads face.  She knew he hated being cooped up, not helping and being able to do things. She took right after him in that department. She also knew though if he didn't do what Angel said she would force him too and that would make it even worse. 

   "Well, Jason is going to be busy with his family for a while. Maybe we can get in a little walk for breakfast, a pit stop at the barn, and then make it a movie day?"

Keeping her arms around Hal and gently running her fingers along Hal's neck Sam ignored her phone giving a murmur of agreement to his comment about this being more important. Being back to work meant a little less stress about that and it just made enjoying Hal company a little better all the way around.

As it rang a third time Sam groaned and let out a long sigh as Hal pulled away. Looking down at Kirk and rolling her eyes she looked at Hal holding up the phone.

   "It's Kirk."

Finally letting it ring just a few more times she answered it.

   "Hello?"

Destiny was happy to see Jett become a little more responsive, and actully see him smile. It made her feel good. He was going to be ok, it just was going to be hard for a while but he was going to get through it.

   "You can always call me, day or night. I actually don't live that far."

Standing and thinking for a second Destiny looked to Zan and gave a smile before turning and looking back at Jett. Maybe he was the kind of person who needed little pushes here and there.

   "Get some rest, in the morning I will be over to pick you up for breakfast, and to go out and look for some apartments. You deserve a lot better then this, and we are going to find it for you."
