Do you...

Heading out to lunch finally Dalton was just going to run to the store and grab some fruit. He was starting to get a little puggy in the middle and the last thing he wanted was to look like a chunky creepy person for his and Dani's wedding so fruit today it was.

Seeing someone walking down the road Dalton was sure it was Dylan. That was strange that he was walking. Maybe he got to go home early? Dalton still felt bad. Pulling up along side of him he smiled.

   "Hey, want a lift?"

"Do you really think putting the FBI on Jason and Katie's case is necessary? They really haven't done anything wrong except not show up for work."

Adison just looked at Kirk for a long moment. She understood he wanted to find where Katie and Jason were but putting the FBI on them seemed just a little extream.

"Ron is good at his job, one of the best. If he can't find them, I doubt anyone can. I think we need to figure out of we are going to tell the FBI about their connection and then take it from there. Their safety should be our main concern if we are part of the team."

She tried to offer Kirk an encouraging smiled. She had honestly never seen him like this before. They both took their jobs very seriously, and she knew he was a deep thinking about things but it almost felt like he was not thinking enough, acting on just emotion, or was thinking too much. It worried her though for many different reasons.

Returning the kiss Sam smiled as she looked back up at Hal. It was good to be back no matter what honestly. The time off had been nice, but she really had been bored with not much to do. She just hoped Pete would be back too and everything would work out on that end too.

"Mmmm....Partners in crime, I kinda like the sound of that. Anything interesting happen while I was away?"

Walking out onto the little doc Ashlee laughed at Travis. She had opted for her jean shorts that were too short to really wear anywhere, and a t-shirt.

"Yeah you say the water is nice but is it really?"

Dipping her toe into the water it did feel quite warm tonight. Finally just throwing caution into the wind she jumped into the water, going down, before shooting back up. Running her hand over her face and pushing her hair back she squinted at Travis and laughed.

"Ok, so the water is pretty nice."

As Jeff bursted into the office Rosetta stood seeing the look on his face. Something was wrong she could tell. Just listen to him talk she sank down in her chair again. She hadn't exspected Kirk to call Jeff at all and she had to admit she was ferous and upset for her brother this was not good for his health.

"Calm down Jeff before you have a heart attack. I don't know where Katie and Jason went but I do know they are ok."

She wasn't lieing to her brother, there had been three contacts that had been told Jason and Katie could be heading there way and she really didn't know what one they went to first. It had been better that was so with a clear contious she could tell people she didn't know where they were.

"They had to tell the FBI group at the Elite about their ability and it's possible that Kirk is going to tell the rest of the FBI. So for now...they went into hiding till its safe. No one knows where they went though all we know is they are ok or we would have heard something."

Rosetta looked to her Mick wondering if he could help at all with this. She was worried about her brother and his health and wished with all her heart she could tell him more. Not to mention if Kirk called Cindy as well that would be another issue they would have to deal with.

Sitting in the backyard of the small house Katie had just taken a spot alone on the soft grass. Looking out at the vacant field she watched the tall grass blow. She had read all five of the text messages her father had written, and the two voice mails. He was so worried, and that worried her more knowing the condition he was in. Maybe it hadn't been such a good idea not to let him in the loop.

Hearing the ping of her phone and seeing another message tears streamed down Katie's face. She couldn't take this on top of everything else she had just had enough. Without warning, she just heard back and threw her phone forward letting it land somewhere in the weeds with a loud thud. Bringing her knees up to her chest she just held them and rocked slightly. She new Jason would wonder where she was, but it wouldn't be hard to find her.
