As Garret patted her shoulder Destiny looked to him and gave him a little smile. She hadn't done much, but she hoped it was enough. Garret might have been Agency but he was a good guy she could tell. She was happy he was able to turn his life around before it was too late.
"Thank you for taking the time to help Jett."
Finally going to sleep Destiny really did hope Jett was ok. She felt bad and if he went back to the Agency he had a lot he could offer them now, including where she was. She hoped her friendship meant more to him though.
Her phone ringing jarred Destiny from her sleep. Grabbing her phone and looking at it Destiny saw Zan's number and answered.
"Hey did you find Jett?"
Listing and hearing about Jett Destiny sat up and leaned back against her pillows her heart sinking. She knew he was going to be upset but maybe she hadn't expected that.
"He had a run in with the Agency. The same people my parents worked for. The Elite asked if I would talk to him, and...I did. He took it pretty hard."
Destiny let out a long sigh before running her hand over her face. It was simply there was no easy around this..she wished there was but it had to be hard somewhere.
"When he is done throwing up just get him to eat some toast, and drink some water. The worst part is to come in the morning. I'm awake now...need or want any company?"
"Night Aaron, rest well."
Getting up and leaving the room Sam let out a long breath of air. That went better then she had been expecting. She thought for sure Aaron was going to be angry but he was calm. Maybe just acting like nothing happened like Justin had suggested was the best thing to do.
