One of the Few

Destiny paced in small circles in her house glancing at the clock every now and then. She knew everything going down now with Jett and it made her nervous. Would he listen? What was Garret going to do to him? Being left with her thoughts worried her and made her worry for him even more. They promised they would call when they knew something, but she hadn't heard anything, so was that good or was that bad?!

Hearing the doorbell ring Desinty jumped before hurrying to open the door. Seeing Jett and the condition he was in she brought a hand to her mouth fear in her eyes as she looked to Garret and then Jett again. She knew what was going to happen but she hadn't expected it to look quite as bad as it did.

"Oh Jett...what have you gotten yourself into."

Stepping forward and putting Jett's arm over her shoulder Destiny lead them both inside and to the couch where he could sit down. He's been still recovering from his car accident and now this. Disappearing from the living room and going to the kitchen there was a little banging around before Destiny came back with an ice pack and a cloth to clean his lip and a glass of water.

Sitting down on the couch she let out a long sigh trying to at least give Jett a half smile. This was hard, and she knew how much harder it was going to be for Jett.

"My father used to work for the Agency. He was one of their researchers. He had money, powers, but it came at a cost....."

Desinty continued on to tell Jett about her family, about how their every movement was watched, about how she was never allowed to have friends, and if she did become someone's friend they would always end up disappearing. Having friends meant information could be slipped to the wrong person.

"...My dad always wanted me to know how to mend wounds, treat concussions, and do stitches because who knew when one of us would be in danger to where it could save our life..."

She told Jett all she knew about the Agency and all she had been through not sparing any details and ultimately her parent's death and her own safety that was always in danger. She knew things a lot of people wanted, and a lot of things the agency wanted from her.

"The Agency are bad people, who rune good people's lives. No matter what they promise there is always a price and at any time they can decide they don't need you anymore. Everyone at the Agency is expendable and can be replaced."

Destiny let out a deep sigh again and looked to Garret. She didn't know if she was helping or not but she sure hoped so.

"Please dont join the Agency, you are one of the few friends I have ever had and I don't want to lose you."

Sam just smiled to herself as she continued to work. Maybe Justin was right and she did have a special place in Aaron's heart. Once of his own friends. Just dropping that conversation, for now, she didn't want to dwell too long on it.

"So later today or tomorrow start working on your knee exercises again we will start taking short walks once more. Same as before if you can walk ok you can go to the kitchen, or rec room. If you need Misty to look at your knee you know where she is, and you know where Reese's office is too."

Snapping a few more things into place Sam was quiet again before she the other stuff she was holding down and turning to Aaron.

"Thank you...for what you did. It really means a lot to me."
