Wont Be

As Jett joined them Destiny smiled, but hearing his comment it faded and her eyes looked to the ground. She new Jett didn't mean anything but it but his comments made her feel awkward and uncomfortable. She was still getting used to actually hang out with people, and comments like that just caught her off guard and made her feel like she had done something wrong even though she knew she didn't. Shifting a little she was about to just brush it off but hearing Zan's retort She just looked at him for a long moment. She'd never seen him upset before now.

Watching Jett as Zan continued Destiny could see his own embarrassment and she felt a little bad for Jett. She new maybe he deserved it, and she respected Zan for sticking up for what he new was right, but she still felt a little bad just seeing the look in his eye. It was almost like a puppy that had gotten a beating.

Scarlet was a little surprised when Zan started giving Jett the riat act. She agreed his comments were uncalled for but hadn't expected Zan to say anything. Sliding off the hood of her car she looked at Dylan and shook her head. He didn't need to get in the middle of this.

About to step in herself and break up the discussion that should be held somewhere else Jett walked away. She felt a little bad for him. He seemed lost in the world and the one person he looked up to just have him what for. Maybe Zan had a right too but still, she couldn't help but feel bad. Turning back to the group she threw her empty bottle in the nearby trash can.

   "So...whos hungry?"

Destiny looked up at Zan and gave a little smile. She could see the sorry look in his eye but she didn't want him to be. Things couldn't be roses all the time and she new that. Reaching up Destiny brushed some dirt from his forehead.

   "It's ok, and thank you."

Looking up from his desk as Pete came over Ron's smile faded a little. Pete didn't look happy and hearing his words almost left him in shock. He was suspended? But why? He really didn't have time to ask that now though.

"I'll give you a text and see when is a good time to grab dinner or something. Take care of yourself."

Continuing her route to the security office Sam just stood in the doorway looking at Hal for a long moment. A few tears sprang into her eyes. What would he think about what happened? Maybe he wouldn't even want to be with her anymore.

Entering the room and going to where her stuff was Sam started collecting it not saying anything till it was all together. Turning she looked at Hal for a long moment.

"I won't be around for a while I got suspended. Aaron is gone, and I'm to blame. If you want to get together for dinner or something text me. If you don't want to anymore I understand. I've got to go before I get into any more trouble with Kirk and Reese. I'm...I'm sorry."

Sam's voice cracked a little as she grabbed her things and exited the security office. Making her way across the floor it felt like all the eyes were on her now. She didn't like it and suddenly she realized even more how Aaron must have felt. What a horrible feeling.

Looking everywhere Nate growled in frustration. How could Aaron just be gone like a ghost? He had a bum knee so unless he hitched a ride there was no way he could have gotten far. It frustrated Nate even though he new that was what Aaron was a master at just disappearing.

I have no idea how he just was gone. I did feel all that tension too. It put me on edge, to be honest. We have enough to worry about without having just another thing to watch out backs with.

Katie just continues to look up and down the side streets and alley ways in search of Aaron. There was no sight of him, not even a little hint of where he might have gone. Maybe he did go back to the Agency? Would he? He sure did know a lot about them he could share now.

"We win some, we lose some but we live to fight another day. Don't beat yourself up with this ok? It was our job to try and find him."

As Jason pulled up Nate shook his head. It seemed they hadn't come up with anything either. Letting out a long sigh he thought for a moment before looking back at Jason. He didn't know if bringing in Trooper would work or not but it was definitely worth a shot at this point.

"Go get Trooper see what he can do. I'll try anything at the moment."
