"I think it's because of those feelings you are the right man for the job. Maybe it's the FBI that is the problem."
Adison mused under her breath. Kirk had a good heart, but they were both very serious about their jobs too. It was just hard. She could see the good in everyone here, and she could see how they wanted to help people but in reality how they worked was unsafe. It worried her to something would happen.
"They buck the system because that is who they are, unfortunately. We think about our own selves who have gone through training for this kind of thing. They haven't. We do this because it's our job and we enjoy it. To the Elite it's more then just a job, to every person there this is what is right."
Thinking for a long second Adison grew quiet for a long moment before finally looking back to Kir again. She herself didn't know what to do, but she did know Katie and Jason were special.
"So if Katie and Jason don't belong there where do they belong? Could you imagen if they didn't have Elite protection The Agency manhunt that would be looking for them? And if they found them...I would be scared what the Agency would do to them to tire and figure their abilities out."
Interlocking her fingers with Eric's Stacy smiled and just swing with him. She didn't mind the quiet moments they were just as nice as the louder ones. Hearing Eric's words Stacy shifted a little to look at him and search his face. She wasn't sure if his question was a general one, or if he was asking something else, but she did have an answer for him.
"I love being here, and I love being with you. Ash is doing good her and seems to like it. I am not sure if she still plans on going to college or not, but it would be pretty lonely all alone. Being here I would be surrounded by people who care."
Taking Eric's hand and bringing it up to her face she gave it a soft kiss. He meant everything to her, and she cared very much for him. It was hard for her to think of what life would be without him.
"I couldn't imagen leaving you, so as long as you stay...I think I could too."
