Safe

Getting into her car and making sure Zan was in and buckled as well Destiny moved forward. There was only one hospital in town so she knew where to go. Looking over at Zan her heart ached. Taking her hand she reached over and took Zan's for a moment giving it a gentle squeeze.

   "Don't blame yourself ok? Jett choice to be drinking and he chooses to drive. Even if he had come with us tonight there was not telling what might have happened. Maybe it would have happened earlier or later but it still might have happened."

Taking her hand back and putting it on the steering wheel again the rest of the drive was quiet. The tension in the air was thick though and it was not a good feeling to feel helpless. 

Getting to the hospital in little under a half an hour Destiny found some parking and paid before getting out and wondering over to him waiting for him to get out. She didn't care for hospitals but she was there for Zan and Jett.

Going into the living room it took Sam longer than normal to actually pick a movie. She really wasn't in the mood for anything, but sitting with Hal and watching something was far better than wallowing. Choosing an action movie that wasn't too intense it would be better than nothing.

As Hal came back and for comfortable Sam just waited till he motioned her over. Cuddling under his arm and leaning her hand and head on his chest she just moved her head to bury it into his chest a little breathing in his sweet smell. She felt safe here, comfortable like the rest of the world didn't exist.

As Destiny and Zan left Scarlet adjusted a little. Hearing Hunter's question she thought for a long moment. She knew the others more than likely felt out of the loop. Looking at Dylan she gave a smile smiled. More than likely she would probley tell Eli later what happened only because when it came to the races they both shared what was going on and possibly to look for. It wasn't their job to do that but its something they had both started doing, and everyone respected that with them. 

   "Zan and Jett has some heated words tonight. It ended with Jett going and doing his own thing. Really that's all I feel comfortable to say. It's not my business to share anything else. I do hope Jett will be ok. He's a good kid just...taken a bad path."
