Please?

Looking down near his shoulder at Destiny's face, just inches from his, Zan couldn't help his laugh - nor the color in his cheeks. He wasn't sure he'd ever just been told outright that he was a good kisser. Clearing his throat, he tried to compose himself, though a wry grin remained. "Well, um... truth be told... you're not bad yourself and... I've kinda been thinking about that all day, too."

He was ready to say more but a waitress came over and interrupted them to take their orders. Once she was gone though, Zan turned his attention back to Destiny. Reaching up, he ran a finger lightly down the side of her face. "We really should try another one of those kisses. You know... just to be sure it wasn't a fluke."

A grin spread across his face again before leaning in closer and pressing his lips to hers. He didn't care that they were in a public place - and the booth did hide them just a bit. Spreading his palm to cradle her face, he deepened his kiss a little, just letting it spread gently.

"Woohoo!" Hunter got up from the couch and jogged to the kitchen to get the pizza. "We love party crashers."

Dylan smirked a little and moved his feet so Ryan could join them on the couch. He thought for a moment, pursing his lips. "First day was... long." He grinned just slightly. "I did a lot of filing papers, then got a two-hour self-defense lesson, of which apparently there will be more. Cool stuff, but I'm not to proud to admit it kicked my butt."

Hunter chuckled as he returned with the pizza, plates, napkins and a bottle of pop, juggling it all until it had been set on the coffee table. "No wonder you needed a nap."

Dylan rolled his eyes. "Yeah. You'd think with all the work I normally do, today woulda been a snap."

"Eh. New surroundings. New people. New experiences. It'll wear a body out. You'll get used to it quick though I'd bet." Hunter eased down next to Ryan on the other end of the couch and slid an arm around her to give her a quick kiss. Dylan or not, he wasn't going to avoid at least some affection. Not seeing Ryan all day could be murder.

Aaron's shoulders visibly dropped at Sam's answer. His gaze dimmed as he leaned on his crutch, and he just looked at her for the longest moment. And as the seconds ticked by, his eyes started to glisten. His jaw tightened as he tried to keep his emotions in check. "Please?" he begged. "Just... just tell me what I need to do. I'll do anything."

He shook his head. "It feels like the walls are caving in on me." His voice had grown quieter. "Just ten minutes? Please?"
