Don't Think

In the kitchen Destiny just let whatever was happening in the living room happen. She wouldn't spy on them or try and listen in. This was for them to figure out. Finding some bowls in the cabinets none of them matched but Destiny didn't really mind. She thought it was actually kind of cute. Pouring chips, candy, pickles, and other things into the bowls there sure was a variety.

As Zan came back into the kitchen and put his arms around Destiny she leaned into him a little. He at least seemed to be in a better mood now than when he had come in before and she hoped that mean he and Jett had really gotten over whatever was going on.

"Oh I'm alright, not sure about incredible though."

Turning and giving Zan a kiss her eyes twinkled.

"Of course you can help. I got two kinds of dip for the chips if you want to grab those and a spoon. I also just have to dumb he rest of the candy in some bowls."

Aerith smiled and laughed. It was good to see Wyatt joking and smiling. She missed that the most and just seeing that again made her feel good.

"I think I can help with both. Why don't I take your order, and then I can come and sit with you while we wait."

Scarlet nodded as she followed Eli out of the diner. She looked forward to working together more. At least then even if she didn't talk to him she could still catch glimps of him now and again as he worked.

   "Supper would be perfect."

Wrapping her arms around him she gave him a tight hug and a kiss before pulling away. She knew he had to go and with any luck, the afternoon would go quickly so she could see him again.

Just listing to Garret Thirteen leaned on the counter a little. Giving a smile she nodded. He did look a little stressed out. Maybe it was just from work or getting used to everything that was new to him still. She knew that feeling it was hard when everything became different than how you knew it.

"Things will look brighter again soon. They always do sooner or later."

Thinking about his question Thirteen nodded. This was the first job she ever had and honestly, it wasn't. Aerith was nice, Carson was funny, and she liked when Misty was around too.

"It has the good days and the bad days. All in all though it could be worse. I like Carson he is nice, and he understands when I have a bad day. I don't think I'd really get that anywhere else"
