Alone

Listing to Hal's words Sam could feel her heart break a little more. But the hearing his kinds words too it brought a little warmth. Feeling Hal's kiss Sam could feel a little hope, did this mean he still wanted to be with her? She dared not hope, but she could feel it creeping up.

   "I'm pretty happy I was and did too."

Bringing her hand up to the side of Hal's face she just ran her fingers over his cheek and around his ear.  Hal really was one of the best things in her life right now. Sam had really never known what she was missing till she had met him.

   "Will you hang around for a while and maybe watch a movie? I don't really want to be home at the moment and if Kirk and Adison happen to come over I really don't want to face them alone either."

As Zan left Destiny threw him a worried look. Continuing the conversation with the others though. It wasn't till Zan came back that Destiny sat up worry spread across her face. Worry for Jett, and worry for Zan too. After knowing about his past she wondered how hard this really was for him.

   "Let me go with you. I can drive."

Hearing what happened conversation went quiet as worry passed on everyone's face. Ryan could feel a choke in her throat. She wondered how bad it was and if Jett would be ok. All she could do was hope and pray.

   "Give him our best wishes ok?"

   "And if you guys need anything don't hesitate to let us know!"

Scarlet looked to Eli giving a little smile and then looking back to Zan. The look in her eye reflected how sorry she really was to hear about Jett. After what had happened tonight as the races she hoped Jett would be ok at least so Zan wouldn't feel like it was his fault.
