Order of Business

Katie smiled at Rick seeing him back. She hoped it would be saying. She honestly missing seeing him around the office. She loved Misty to death, and knew she was good at her job, she just liked Rick too. 

Hearing Jason wanted to get out for a bit Katie nodded at Rick. After the dream she had last night she would be on guard, and would make sure Jason stayed safe. She could tell something was wrong though and it worried her even more. 

   "The park sounds perfect."

Helping Jason to the car and driving it was a quiet drive. There was a thickness in the air Katie couldn't put her finger on but she didn't like. Getting out and just walking with Jason she was quiet but watched their surrounding area. As they stopped she looked up at Jason and searched his face for a long moment. As he spoke she could almost feel her breath catch in her throat. Could this really be?

   "How....I thought..."

Katie didn't know what to say as a few tears welled in her eyes. Jason had been getting sicker and sicker while she hadn't felt anything. What would happen if she didn't get hers back, what would happen if she did?

   "My first instinct is to say we need to figure a way to get mine back to then, but at the same time, I'm scared. Our connection wasn;t the worst thing in the world, but it ended up tearing us apart. I just got you back, and we are in a good place. I can't lose you again in either situation."

Hearing Hunter's horn Ryan smiled before tucking her keys in her jacket pocket. On her way to the door, she grabbed a small envelope and tucked it in her pockets. She would get a few of the small things she wanted to take care of out of the way and then Hunter and herself could enjoy the rest of the day. 

  "Hey Hey."

Seeing his helmet was still on Ryan gave a squeeze to his arm and a kiss on his jacket. That would made due for now still she could do better. Taking the extra helmet her put it on and than got on the back of his bike.

   "First order of business if you wouldn't mind handsome...I need to go to Mom and Pop's to see Carson. I have something I need to give him."
