Odd

It didn't take Jason and herself long to put their stuff away in their rooms and settle just a little so at least there wasn't a big mess. Promising Cindy they would be back slowly they started back to the main yard of the ranch.  

Seeing Jeff walking away Katie smiled seeing him and picking up her walk a little bit. Seeing the look on his face though she couldn't help a little worry grow he did not look happy.

Odd...I hope everything is ok.

Walking closer Katie finally stopped with Jason and tucked her hands into her pockets before smiling and calling to her dad.

   "You sure do look sour. If this is a bad time I can come back."

Turning her head to look at Scott Hope had really missed this. Just him and her and this affection. Hearing his words put tears in her eyes, nat sad tears but happy ones. She had waited a long time to hear those words from Scott again.

Shifting onto her side and putting her one arm under her head Hope continued to smiled just searching Scott's eyes as it felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest.

   "I love you too Scott. I promise you won't lose me. Even on your worst day, I will always be here."

Adison just listen and nodded here and there. This whole thing was odd, and Kirk knew she thoughts about it. Why they would hide something from them she didn't know but it didn't help anything to do so. If they were out of the loop how could they answer questions or even protect anyone? If Jason and Katie were in some kind of trouble they needed to know.

   "I think asking Misty is worth a shot. Just do it tactfully so you don't have an angry husband on your butt again."

Sam had stopped watching the camera feed and though her mind was still on Katie and Jason she had turned to some paperwork she needed to get gone. Having Hal come into the room and walk by her, her mind almost went blank though as his sent wafted by her. He sure did smell good, just like he had last night. Trying to keep the color from her cheeks Sam smiled. 

   "Good Morning! Don't worry about it. I was just checking over the cams and I saw you in the rec room so I knew you were here."

After the words had come out of her mouth it sounded creepy the way she had said it but she decided not to try and backtrack but keep just moving forward. 

   "Have you heard from Katie and Jason? Did they make it to the ranch ok? I was just worried about how fast they had left and just hoped everything was alright."
