Butcher

Katie understood what Jason was saying about not being too scared of what was to come. She was nervous about what might happen but it really did bring her comfort that Jason was working with her through it all.

I'm happy we are able to go through it together at least for sure.

Looking at Jason Katie searched his face as they walked and his mention of dying. She was happy he was talking to her about it if anything.

"You won't die, we won't die. We are gonna overcome this, let it do its thing and control it again. We just can't give up or lose hope. We are in this together."

Wendy was happy Clint was helping her with lunch. She missed these moments with him and him just being together. It had been far too long.

"Grab some plates these ones are ready."

Finally sitting down and taking a bite of her own melt. The bread really had turned out good. Seeing that Clint liked it pleased Wendy too.

"I will definitely have to make it this way from now on. I like how the outside is harder and the inside is nice and soft."

Putting down her sandwich and taking a bit of the pickle that was on her plate Wendy thought for a long moment. Setting the rest of her pickle down she let out a small sigh before looking at Clint again.

"I was in town earlier getting a few things and I saw at the meat market they were looking for a butcher. I thought I would let you know in case you wanted to check it out."

Getting back to work and taking a sip of her coffee Sam gave a nod taking the keyboard and pulling up a few things to look at pointing out where people were at what time, and what they were doing. She really didn't know people routeans during the day so it was hard but she was happy Hal was there to help.

"So I think that was everyone...Was there anyone we missed we should look closer at? I saw Dalton leave that one time, and there was no feed of where he went. But I don't feel like he would have done something like this."

   "He did."

Nate nodded as Reese came close and he listened intently to what he said making sure he didn't miss anything. Hearing what he plan was it made sense. Maybe one of the best ways to figure out who was doing this was making them think they were throwing them off. Deep down Nate new Reese really couldn't have thought Garret had done this.

   "You got it, boss."

It wasn't much later that Nate left the office and now was coming in the house. Hanging his jacket up and setting his keys down on the little table in the hallway Nate peeked into the kitchen. Seeing Laura he wandered in and wrapped his arms around her while she stood at the stove. Placing a soft kiss on her neck.

"Something sure does smell good...and I don't think it's just the food."

Smiling he leaned in a little more and have her a kiss on the cheek just holding her for a long moment before backing away. Their vacation had been a nice on, refreshing.

"I have to talk with Garret for a moment then I'll be back to help. Don't run too far."

Backing away and heading down the hall to Garret's room Nate knocked on the door. Opening it a little and seeing Garret on his bed she stepped in and just smiled silently for a moment before wondering closer.

"Hey. So...Reese talked to me before I left and he wanted me to let you know he is sorry."

Quiet again for a second he just searched Garret's face.

"He doesn't really think you had anything to do with the leak. He just wants to make it look like he thinks you did to try and draw out the real person. So he just wanted me to let you know that he does believe you and he does trust you."
