Habit

Getting the cloth and putting it in Jason's head Katie gave a nod of thanks. As he pulled her down she could feel how warm he was and a small tear ran down her cheek. She hated this all over again, the pain Jason had to be in. She just wished her full abilities could come back too.

"You are going to wait to leave Cindy till Rick gets here, just in case I don't want anyone to get hurt. I'll keep him safe I promise."

Katie did her best to give a smile to Cindy. She knew it would be hard for her but it was best. If she couldn't take Jason's emotions fast enough and he was going to explode it was best no one else was in the room at the moment.

You won't hurt me, just do it.

Continuing to do her own best to syphon the emotions Katie could feel a stronger pull, more than before and she knew her abilities were coming back stronger, slowly but there were a little stronger now too. Maybe they would be enough to help Jason. She could only hope.

Ryan couldn't help but roll her eyes again. Somehow she knew he was going to think she meant him. He was just lucky she liked his humor and wasn't more offended by it.

   "Mmm...dessert is later dear."

As the waiter came and the whole joke continued Ryan couldn't help but laugh again. Opening her menu she pointed to one of the items.

"I'll take the Black and Blue griller, no onions, and an order of the fried pickles please."

Once the waiter started to walk away Ryan gave a little elbow to Hunter as she smiled.

"You are terrible you know that."

"Actually, I pretty much have no social life. I know sad right."

Taking another sip of the bottle Sam looked at the garbage can and tossed it in making a perfect shot.  Leaning her head against the wall again she was quiet. She didn't mind not having a social life, not really anyways. Sometimes it was lonely, but most days it was good.

"Maybe next week we can set something up again. I think making a habit of dinner and stargazing sounds like a fun plan."
