Leery

Leaning her head against Hunter she soaked in his words. That is what she needed to hear and it made her feel good just knowing she was doing ok. She thought she was doing pretty good too. Maybe not ready to race yet, but at least she had to car to show off again and a car to get her around so Eli didn't have to anymore.

"I think I can do that, not to mention I worked up an appetite."

Sam gave a thoughtful nod at Aaron's comment about needing to believe you can before you can. They were wise words now if only he could follow them too.

"Ok next time they will be good when I make them then."

Eating some more of her food Sam was just quiet as she chewed and enjoyed the taste. She thought about what Aaron was saying for a long moment. He was right she didn't have the authority but as long as she was giving good reports, and he was making progress the option would still be up to her on what to do.

"Well as long as I trust you that is all that matters at the moment, because of right now. Everyone else will in time too."

Finishing off her eggs and standing to put her plate in the sink Sam stretched a little before turning to look at Aaron again as she leaned against the sink.

"Just because people are leery, and don't trust you doesn't mean they don't care. If they didn't care you wouldn't be here and that you can trust."

Letting out a small yawn as she walked with Jason Katie was tired, and could feel Jason was tired too making her a little more tired. It had been a good first day though and it went without any major incident which was good.

"It is good to be back. I missed everyone so much."

Continuing to walk hand and hand Katie leaned into Jason a little too. They didn't know what each day would hold, but she was hopeful and they didn't have to go at it alone. Not to mention they had a lot of people here who would support them too.

"I have no idea what's up with Clint. Wes said he has been keeping his distance from everyone. Tomorrow I might to visit with Wendy a little bit and make sure everything is ok. And I feel bad for Jim. I can't imagen what it must be like."
