New Thing

Seeing her father's smile fade a little Katie just held her own smile. She didn't want him to be sad or worry too much. They hadn't wanted this to come back but it had and they now had to deal with it. It was ok, though, as worried as she would, she didn't mind too much. It meant she could protect Jason a little better now. She'd always been able to when they had their connection. She lived to be the protector and she enjoyed it.

"Don't worry to much ok? We are gonna be just fine, and figure it all out again."

Hearing Jason tell Jeff about their glowing eyes she grinned a little bit. In all honestly as freaked out as they were it was kind cool too. Now if they could just learn to control it.

"Yeah, that's the new thing. We don't know what triggers it yet or how to control it. We will, though, sooner or later."

Laughing Hope laughed even more as Domino came bounding over and cuddles between them. Taking her hand from Scott's she scratched the little dogs head.

"Just like a kid you gotta run the moment mmm?"

As she started to lick her face Hope cringed a little at the smell of her breath. She loved the little dog for sure but after she had just been having fun with her seaweed she couldn't help the look on her face.

   "Domino...you need your teeth brushed."

Adison thought for a long moment sitting next to Kirk. She didn't like this whole thing as much as he didn't like it. They weren't bad people, if everyone would just give them a chance. How they were going to do that she had no idea. At the moment it felt like they trusted Garret more than them.

"I guess at the moment till something else happens we kind of have too. No one is giving us any information. Maybe when something comes up we can visit this again, unless you have any other ideas?!"

Not saying anything else Sam left the room and made her way to Aaron's room. Giving a knock she opened the door and smiled coming in. He had noted he hadn't done much the last few days and wanted to try and get him up and moving.

"Good Morning! Want to join me for a walk?"

Sam continued to smile as she stepped aside a little. She wasn't going to be able to take Aaron outside again yet, but a walk around, and maybe a venture to the kitchen to cook something else up would be nice, and something different for him.

"I was thinking after the walk we could throw some omelets together for lunch. I suck at cooking eggs though so I'll need your help."
