Limited

Thinking about what her brother said about Tal Ryan was just quiet as they drove. She was happy Eli had told her the truth but he was right it did hurt knowing she was part to blame for it. She really did hope that maybe tonight had helped if even just a little.

"I'm sorry to hear he hasn't been well."

Looking to her brother and studying him for a long moment she let out a small sigh. She was truly happy with Hunter so she didn't wish things were different but she did wish that things maybe had ended a little better. If she hadn't of lost her head, if Tal had just been there for her maybe they could have talked and at least ended it better.

"I never meant to hurt him and I hope he will be ok. He's a good guy and will make someone very happy one day."

As Hal took a bite of the food and enjoyed it Sam couldn't help but smile. She wished she could take credit for thinking up such a creative meal but it was only right to give credit where it was due.

"It's Aaron's concoction. He likes to cook, and I thought if I let him it might help pull him out of the slump he was in. He made this and showed me how. I never could of thought of something like this on my own."

Taking one of the chips and munching on it Sam looked across the lake for a long moment. She wondered what Hal would think of this being Aaron's creation. She couldn't help but wonder if he would be upset or not. Giving a chuckle she looked back at Hal.

"Unfortunately my skill of cooking is limited to very few things."

Hearing Jason was awake Misty came over to him and put a hand to his head. He was hotter now and yet still cold. This was not a good sign and it worried her. Looking into his eyes and watching them for a long moment she could see the glossy look. She'd helped Rick with Jason before but this was way of out her league.

"No, you are going to stay put and if I have to tie you down I will."

Going over to her desk and picking up the phone Misty dialed Rick. She hated bothering him but she had to. If someone was going on with Jason and she missed something she would never forgive herself.

"Rick, it's Misty. Jason is in bad shape and I need your help."

...The grass blew softly and the birds chirped in the distance. Katie laughed at Jason continued his story. They had decided on a picknick today and it was a pretty day for it. Katie's smile quickly faded though as a dark cloud rolled in. A storm was coming, faster than had expected. It made no sense though there was no storm in the forecast.

As she and Jason worked quickly to pack up there things a shot rang out. She'd been lost in them and had forgotten what her job was. Jason fell to his knees as a blood stain in his chest soaked his shirt. Another shot rang out....

Sitting up in bed quickly Katie let out a scream as she panted catching her breath. Sweat poured from her forehead as she looked around her room quickly. She'd forgotten she had gone to bed early tonight because she'd been feeling off. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea after all. It had been a long time since she had, had a bad dream. Something wasn't right...she could feel it.
