Cold

Getting in the car with Eli Ryan sat for several long moments trying to gather her thoughts. It had been hard tonight with Tal, more than maybe she would even like to admit and she felt exhausted from trying to be so strong.

"I'm ok. Really tired, and it was kinda rough having Tal there. I think it was good, though. Wore me out thought."

Ryan didn't want Eli to worry. She was tired, tonight had been hard but she was ok. More so than she had several months ago anyways.

"Tal looked like crap. He's really not doing that ok...is he?"

The morning was fun even with the little awkward moments. Sam didn't linger on them much or mind them totally. She just let the day continue. Finally, as lunch came rolling around her own stomach gave a growl and she laughed a little. Maybe she was a little hungry then she thought too.

   "Oh, nothing to fancy."

Pulling up the sack she had made out of a large cloth Sam moved to sit on the rock where Hal was. It would just make things a little easier. Opening it to reveal the containers she had made exactly what Aaron had shown her.

"Apple quesadillas and Parmesan chips. Not sure if they taste ok cold, but I liked them."

Looking up from her desk and seeing Jason Misty smiled a little. It had been a little bit since they actually talked, and in a way she missed it. She missed their friendship they once had. Seeing his flushed face she stood and went over to him feeling his head. He was warm.

"Come on sit down and let me look you over."

Taking his temp it was a little high and he felt warm, but cool as well.

"You've been keeping your sugar up?"

Going over to the small cabinet Misty pulled out a bottle with some Tylenol and a glass of water. If he was getting sick he best thing he could do was rest. It worried her though as she didn't know as much as Rick did and she was worried she would miss the signs.

"Rest here for a little bit after you take these. Just to make sure you don't get any worse. If you are the same or better in an hour or so I'll let you go...ok?"
