For Good?

Going to grab the bread and butter Maggie does as Laura asked, and started to butter the bread. She liked helping people, it was one of her favorite things to do. Just be useful.

Entering the house and seeing Garret Nate nodded. Coming closer to the kitchen so Laura and Garret could hear. His face was stressed, but there was a glint of hope in there eyes that at least something good happened today.

   "Everything went good with the phone call. Ron told them he hit dead ends and there was nothing else to look for. I'm confidant if anyone contacts him again he will let us know. For now, everything is ok. You are safe, and Victoria is safe too."

Looking up as Gunner walks by Sapphire can't help the look one her face of confusion. His goodbye seemed so finally, but she didn't understand why. He wasn't leaving for good...was he?

Katie's look was on that said how sorry she was for him. She new how hard this must been for him. It just wasn't fair and she new it. Coming closer and sitting down Katie didn't know how to answer Jason's question. She didn't know why this was happening to him and she wished she did.

   "Maybe we can convince Reese to let us go to dinner for at least a half hour or something."

Leaning back and looking up for a long moment Katie let out a long sigh before looking to Jason again and trying to smile.

   "I guess worse come to worst we'll just make trouble here again."
