Walking out with Garret Nate let out a long sigh. He new Garret was upset about what Reese had said. He could tell just by how he acted in the meeting. He new it was hard for Garret, and he new it was hard for Reese too. Both of them went in different directions thinking each new best. It was hard to be stuck in the middle.
"He asked you if you new what it was. You told him...he wasn't scoffing at that. As for the truth...yes I think Scott should be told. but Reese is just trying to protect him."
Nate thinks for a second. They probley should tell Scott what is going on so at least he is not in the dark. He did agree with that, but as for the upgrade he new Reese was doing what was best.
"I think Reese has a point about the upgrade. Scott has been though a lot and who knows if this time it could kill him. He's not willing to risk someones life for an experiment. There are better ways to do things than death, even if we don't always see them yet."
Searching Garret's eyes Nate new this was hard for him to understand. He wasn't use to something like this, and the way normal things worked. It was completely different for him, and Nate didn't understand that but he wanted to try and help Garret understand.
"How would you feel if it was Victoria that was going to go through this upgrade or Maggie? Chances are they would die, and if they didn't they wouldn't be the same anymore. Would you still be willing to risk there lives for it? If you had a choice would you do it to them?"
Sam can't help but laugh at Hal's comment about her brothers. It was hard at times dealing with them, but they also taught her a lot of things. She would't be able to hunt and track if it wasn't for them, she wouldn't have gotten tough, and she was sure if it wasn't for them she would of had a lot more mistake in boyfriends than she already had.
"Sometimes I think they actually forgot I was a girl. Mom would have to yell at them to take it easy on me. I kept up pretty well though considering."
Looking at the picture for a long moment Sam study the girl. She was very pretty. The tone in Hal's voice as he talked about her had not gone unnoticed. He sounded sad and it made her wonder what had happened to cause her to be in Florida with her mother now. It would't be a question she'd ask though at least not now.
"She is very pretty. She has you eyes and nose."
Just letting the silence linger for a long moment Sam turned her eyes again to the screens in front of them just watching. She wondered about so much with this place about the people, and about there lives that led them here. Her mother always told her cerosity killed the cat. She was sure one day it would but till than she liked finding new information out.
"I can't imagen how this must be hard on you all. I an get pretty set in my ways and if I had someone come in and change everything..well I would probable be not so nice too. Hopefully in time though you all will trust us."
Hearing it was time to get Aaron Sam sat up a little straighter. They were just jumping right into it. She was glad and liked it that way. The sooner she could learn a little more about Aaron the sooner she could start doing the job appointed to her. Though deep down she new it was going to be a big learning change.
"Yeah of course I'll come. Just do what you normally do and I'll watch and help if needed. I'll also try not to get in the way."
Adison couldn't help but giggle at every little kiss Kirk gave her. She felt like a kid at school who was doing something wrong, and if she was honest with herself she liked it. It brought a little mystery and excitement to there relationship. Not that they needed it but it was a nice bonus.
Giving a jump at Jamison clearing his throat Adison's cheeks went red as she turned back to the files for a second to try and compose herself. Finally turning again to listen to both men talk Adison raised an eyebrow at Jamison's tone. Had there exchange really been that bad this morning that now he was in a bad mood.
"Yeah, I can do the tour. We'll see you right here...in a bit."
Smiling at Kirk and than Jamison, Adison mostioned for him to follow her. As she walked with him She pointed out offices, and whos desks were whos. She showed him the infirmary and Scott and Dalton's office with all the computers set up. Stopping outside the break room Adison stops and looks at Jamison for a long moment.
"You know you really should be in a better mood. Even if you think Barns is going to say no, you dont know that. Kirk is going though a lot for this. We really want you here. "
Starting forward again Adison finsihed off the tour before returning back to the file room and finding Kirk. She looked to Jamison and smiled again.
"Kirk, he's all yours. Need me to stick around? If not I'm going to go look over a bunch of those files we pulled."
