Strength

Hearing Garret's question Nate wondered if what he had said really had sank in. Was all the silent work they had been doing starting to finally pay off as Garret saw how things really should work in life. He hoped so, and he hoped it helped Garret as much as it could.

"Yes, my home, here, and many all places work the same way. There is still a lot of cruelty in the world but this is how it should be. Caring for each others, loving each other, and working as a family."

Nate thought again for a second before continuing. His eyes continued to search Garret's face. He had changed so much in the short time he had been here but Nate could see it, and it made everything worth while.

"Family is not made up of just blood. Laura and I see you as part of our family because we care very much about you. We look past, your past and see you for who you are, and how you have grown. This place here is family, because we care and look out for each other. You'er not alone anymore Garret. You have family even if its not what you intended on happening. Reese can be hard, he can seem like he dosnt care, but he does very much so."

Just letting the topic go for now Nate smiled and nodded. If Garret wanted to walk home Nate would let him. He had faith Garret would really go home, and if not he would show up when he was ready.

"I dont mind if you take my care, but if you want to walk that's good too. Thanks again Garret for coming in today."

Listing to Reese Dalton could feel himself bristle at the thought of Scott getting hurt again. Scott had already been though so much Dalton wouldn't let that happen to him again but Reese was right he did need to tell him about it. Whether is scared him or not, he new Scott would want to know.

"I'll watch Scott till we are pretty sure the danger is over. I think it would be best if it was me. As for telling him, I really think its a good idea you do that. Just be upfront and honest, I think that's what Scott would want no matter what."

Watching Jamison walk away and than looking to Kirk sarrow was in her eyes for Jamison. Kirk was right, he did want this. He wanted it so bad he was scared to reach out and take it.

"We have done all we can. Now we just have to let him be and the ball is in his court. Hopefull he'll come around."

Listing to Hal as they walked Sam soaked up all he was telling her. She wanted to know all she could, and she felt like she just couldn't get enough. Taking the handcuffs from Hal and turning to look back at the door. Taking a deep breath and than letting it out Sam calmed her nerves. She couldn't go in nervous she just couldn't.

Finally feeling calm and confidant enough Sam opened the door and entered seeing Aaron. She wasn't sure honestly what to expect form him. Charm, anger, resistance...it could be any but she'd be ready.

"Morning Aaron. Let's stretch your leg and get some more strength in that knee."
