Trying Again

This whole thing really was awkward and Ryan hated it. She didn't really like being at odds with anyone. In a way though she did feel bad for Tal. She could see he was still hurting and she wish he wasn't. But there was nothing she could do now to change that. What was done was done, the past was the past.

"I'm hanging in there. Definitely doing better. I have good days, I have bad days. The good days are starting to outnumber the bad ones."

As the silence continued again for a moment Ryan wasn't sure what else to say honestly. It just felt odd, and she wasn't sure what was good to say, and what might upset him more. Looking to Eli and giving another smile she shifted her weight again.

"I'm good with whatever Hunter is doing. Don't leave it up to me, we might end up in some old run down restaurant having semi ok food. I'm just here enjoying the company."

Giving Hunter a little squeeze and looking up at him Ryan's eyes twinkled a little. Despite how strange things felt at the moment she was still happy to be there with him and was enjoying the night.

"What are you two up to when you leave?"

Taking in everything Hal said Sam was very intent and listened. Holding the pole and following what he did. Pulling back and then flinging forward nothing happened. Trying again nothing.

   "Mmmm...Hold the button."

Sam held it down and did it once more.

    "..than let go."

Bringing it forward once again the worm and bobber went flying with a plop. Looking to Hal with a big smile she couldn't help to be a little excited like a child who just the best toy for Christmas.

"Well that was fun, now what?"
