Proud

Just listing to Hal Sam enjoyed listening to his explanation. He seemed more relaxed talking about something he really enjoyed. Maybe that's what they needed to do, just find more stuff in common to talk about. Whatever it was at least he seemed relaxed now. 

   "I think I'll try. Best way to learn right?"

Taking the pole and pulling the other ripped half of the worm from the container Sam didn't have much fear of it. Getting dirty didn't bother her much honestly. 

Imitating what Hal did she cringed a little as the worm squirmed around but finally go it on. Her's wasn't on there as nice as Hal's but she was pretty proud it was on there at all.

   "This is going to take practice I think. The art of worm hooking."

   "My place it is then, and no I am not going to make you bring your own food. I'll make some simple chicken, and broccoli."

Hope understood why Scott said bland and she didn't mind one bit. She wanted what he could have and was going to make him go out of his way to bring something himself. That would just be silly and make no sense. 

   "Brings Domino too. We don't want her to miss out on the party fun."

Walking with Hunter Ryan just smiled. As Hunter slowed though She looked to see why and saw Tal. Stopping for a long moment she just stood there. It still felt awkward seeing Tal there with Eli. She knew there were friends, she wanted to be friends with Tal too but it was still a sore spot for them both and for a second she had a sickening feeling in her stomach. 

Seeing Eli wave she didn't wave back right away as she stood there. Finally looking up at Hunter Ryan gave a small smile before holding her head up a little high. Why should she feel bad? Tal had left her, he left her when she needed someone the most. Now she was with Hunter and he accepted her for who she was, how she was and he'd helped her. She wasn't going to be ashamed of Hunter when he had done so much for her.

   "Come on, Eli is waiting."

Just pulling Hunter a little closer Ryan started forward again going over to where Tal and Eli were giving Eli a wave.

   "Hey Hey...did you see how Hunter avoided Zan's car. Just like a pro."

Looking to Tal and trying to give her best smile Ryan cleared her throat and tried to keep her voice steady too. Tal had hurt her, but she wanted to at least try.

   "Hey Tal. Hows it going?"
