Nursing

Carson didn't like the thought of doing nothing all day. He had way too much to do. As much as he'd like Misty's pampering, he didn't have time to be sick.

"Well, I at least have to..." He tried to sit up and got halfway before sliding back down again. "Or...not." He sighed in defeat. Misty was right, as usual.

He slid his hand over to find hers, and ran his fingers over her knuckles lightly. "Thank you," he mentioned softly. "I really didn't mean to just... sack out and get sick on ya." A little smile curled his lips. "Although... refusing your nursing has never been an easy task."

Hunter shook his head. "Dylan's had some issues... I'm sure that look had nothing to do with you." It did seem strange though. He'd have to find out later what was up.

Sipping his coffee, he nodded to Ryan. "You can help with the rest of feeding if you want - it's not hard and I can introduce you to a few more horses if you like."

Her last comment made his eyebrows rise as a new thought struck him. "Actually..." He glanced around quickly, but didn't see Clint. "Mick's nephew - Clint - I don't think his family was in here last night but you'll see them. His wife is Angel's daughter. Anyway, Clint's their resident mechanic and he's always working on the trucks or tractors. He might be able to use your expertise... if you want to, that is."

He gave her a softer smile. "Don't worry... You really can't do anything wrong around here. If there's no lock on a door or gate, it's free to roam. Honest."

Hal gained a wide smile before he laughed. "See? This is why you need to help with this. You think of the good stuff."

He grabbed a pice of scratch paper and a pen to write "fridge." "That's a definite must, I'd say. And if we both agree, well, they'll just have to see the need."
