Knight

Sam just watched Hal for a few long seconds. Something still wasn't right but she wasn't about to hound him if he didn't want to tell her. Holding the menu up Sam tried to stifle a laugh at Kirk and Adison's antics as she turned her attachen back to the menu.

Once there food came Sam's eyes widened at her chicken salad she ordered. It was bigger than she had anticipated but at least she would have lunch for tomorrow now. Taking a few bites she looked at Hal again and smiled. She didn't want him to feel left out so she tried to keep the conversation up with him too but it was hard with him being quiet.

   "So are you better at pool than darts?"

Adison smiled at Kirk as she took another chip and popped it in her mouth just letting the cheese string hang for a second before she used her hand and stuck that in her mouth too.

   "Oh I know it was a good idea that's why I ordered them. I usually always have good ideas."

Giving Kirk a little elbow her eyes twinkled with her humor. 

Starting forward Ryan felt a little wobble and a few times tensed up thinking she might fall but as quickly as they came, they went and she learned to lean with the horse and just ride the movement so it felt less like she would fall. 

Feeling Hunter's leg bump into hers a few times she laughed. The silly horse was being a little pushy. She didn't though. Knowing Hunter was still close in case anything happened made her feel safer. Seeing Dylan Ryan gave a wave. He seemed in a better mood today than yesterday and she was happy about that. Maybe he was just going through teenage mood swings. 

   "Pushy is not always a bad thing, but for a horse, I am not sure if its good or bad."

Continuing along Ryan stopped and thought for a moment when Hunter asked if he wanted to try herself. It was now or never really and she had to try. For her own sake, and so Hunter could get some of his own ridings in. 

   "Yeah, I think I can try on my own. As long as Buttons stays with you, and doesn't decide she wants to take me for a joy ride. Then you'll have to be my knight in shining armor more than you already are."
