As Hunter grabbed her and pulled her off the bed Ryan couldn't help but squeel taking the blankets with her before laughing. Finally standing though she shook a little from the cold. It was definitely going to be a chilly one today.
Grabbing Hunter jacket Ryan made her way to the door and have a half salute before disappearing and making a break for it back to her bunk. Once inside she showered and dressed. Putting her damp hair up at least if it got went now it didn't matter. Throwing her hoodie on over top of everything she grabbed an extra blanket from her room just in case she needed the warmth and got the cards.
Making her to the barn she looked around for Hunter but didn't see him yet. Going to the door and leaning on it just watching the rain Ryan waited and she didn't mind. The sounds of the rolling thunder was peaceful.
Coming around her desk and sitting down next to Scott she gently took his hand. She didn't know what happened to it but if she had to guess it had to do something with his anger issue he mentioned. Her heart ached for him seeing the anger and fear in his eyes.
"Life is a scary thing, but we don't have to go through it alone. Like I said, no one expects the same Scott to be here anymore. We know what you have been through and we know you will be different. That's just how it is. As long as you like you then so will we. Confidence can be everything."
Falling quiet again for a long second Hope was very certain everyone would still care and love Scott no matter how he was different.
"If you start to figure out who you are, and don't like something...then change it. You have a new story to write. A good starting spot is saying sorry to a lot of people you hurt. We care, and we always will."
Entering the room Sam held a plate with a homemade burger one it and some fries. She also carried a bag of ice wrapped in a towel. She really did feel bad for Aaron and wish there was a way she could make the pain less. But if it was her, she wouldn't feel any different.
"Hey, I brought you a burger I made. Not sure if it tastes amazing, but its at least one of the things I can cook ok. Also have some ice for you."
Not even giving him the option to reply Sam went over to the bed and placed it on his knee. If he didn't want it to swell up like a balloon he needed the ice. Backing away and standing there for a long moment she thought.
"I'm not sure how much you can do with your knee, but downstairs there is a recreation room. Lots of people use it to release their frustrations."
Turning and heading to the door Sam stopped again fiddling with the door handle for a long moment before turning and looking at Aaron again.
"I don't know if you'll believe me or not but...I really am sorry about what Garret found. I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to that's not a shrink."
