Hunter groaned again. "I wish." Then he moved a little to look down at Ryan and gave her shoulder a little shove. "You got any idea what they'd think around here if you and I didn't get out of bed all day?" His sleepy eyes twinkled with humor. "Besides that, what about me? I am a guy, ya know. It's not like I don't notice you."
As soon as he'd said it, it was too late and his face flushed. He blinked once, opened his mouth to try and recover, but there really was no way to fix it. He blinked again. Untangling himself from her, he rolled over the other direction so his back was to her, and pulled the blanket up over his head before wailing. "And I just made it weird! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to!"
