Ding Dong

   "You shuffled them ding dong."

Ryan couldn't help the coy grin that formed on her lips as she looked across the table at Hunter. So far even though the game had been a little competitive with her and Hunter she was having fun, and it looked like everyone else was too.

Feeling Jade's tap to his leg Dan straightened and looked at her before glancing at Dylan. It was very rare when he wanted to join them but no one would say anything. It made him feel good to see Dylan wanting to join in the fun.

"Always room for one more. Pull up a chair."

Looking up again from her cards and seeing Dylan Ryan smiled and gave him a nod. She didn't mind if he joined. The more the merrier. At least this meant maybe Dylan did dislike her.

"Of course you can join, as long as you don't mind Hunter over there whining about the bad hands he is getting. I think he's trying to make me feel bad for him so I'll take it easier."

Sitting with Travis Ashlee was happy her mom said being in the dining hall with everyone tonight was ok. She felt so warm and cozy with Travis so close to her. The warms of the fire, the hot coco and just having him there. It was a feeling Ashlee had never experienced before but she liked it.

"I wouldn't mind falling asleep right here. You make a good pillow you know that."

Looking at Garret and seeing the sad look in his eye Sapphire laid a hand on his arm for a second. She did feel bad for him but he wasn't alone in the world. He was more like a human being than he never new.

"If anyone tried blacking mailing me and treating my brother or Gage or any of my friends...I would do anything to keep them safe. It's human instinct to protect those closest to us. That doesn't make you part of the agency or a bad person...that makes you human, just like the rest of us."
