Little One

   "Nite."

Hanging up the phone Misty let out a long sigh. That had been the awkwardest conversation she had maybe every had with Carson. She wasn't sure why but it was and she hated it. She wanted to hang out with, spend some more time and he just cut it off...right there. So many things ran through her head it confused her. Trying to get her mind back on her work Misty would try and just forget it for now.

Getting outside and stretching her arm Sam new tomorrow she could indeed be sore. It was worth it though and she would do it again in a heart beat.

"Don't give to much of a bored face, I will be forced to make you laugh and than everyone will start wondering what is going on."

Giving Hal's arm a pat and a warm smile Sam waved before getting into her car and making her way home. Her mind was still on the evening. It had been a long time since she had just enjoyed the company of another, and a man to boot, but it had been good and she felt refreshed.

Taking the towel that Hunter had throw over to her Ryan took it and wrapped it around herself trying to save some of the floor from having to much water all over it. As he started jogging Ryan held on tighter trying to control her laughter at least a little so they didn't get in to much trouble.

Being dumped onto the bad and laughing again trying to catch her breath Ryan just looked up at Hunter standing there. Not moving for a long few moment she just watched him taking in the flow of energy he had about him. Seeing the smile on his face and the twinkle in his eye made him even more handsome.

Finally moving and popping up on the bed Ryan just stood on it in front of him. She was now taller than he was. Putting her hands on her hips she just looked at him again before finally taking her one hand and giving him a gentile pat on the head.

"Ok little one...I guess you can win this time, but next time...I'm not so sure I'll take it as easy on you."

Her eyes twinkled with humor that had been so lost for a long time. Even if tomorrow she felt like crap and had fallen back into the hole of depression at least tonight she had been pulled up, saving her from drowning completely.
