Key

Hunter smirked at the pat on the head, and straightened up to cross his arms. Looking up at Ryan, he caught a glimpse of the old Ryan, and it made him feel good. Somewhere under there was the fun-loving, confident woman he'd come to know from a distance. Tonight though, she was right here - smiling, coming out of her dark shell, enjoying his company, and within reach... and vulnerable.

He bit his lower lip and glanced down a moment before he shook his head and looked back up at her with a crooked grin. "I'm gonna hold you to that," he teased. "A guy needs a challenge every once in a while. And you are..." He lifted a finger and gave her a playful tap on the chin. "Definitely a challenge." Backing slowly away, he finally turned and aimed for the door.

"See ya bright and early," he called over his shoulder. Once he got to the door though, he stopped. Thinking a moment, he turned back around and returned to the bed, looking up at Ryan again. "Here." He held out one of his room keys and rolled his eyes a little. "I'm not being sleezy - honest. Just... in case you need anything. I might not hear my phone."

Just standing in the parking lot for a few moments, Hal watched as Sam drove away. His hand absentmindedly went to his arm where she'd patted him. She had a nice smile... and a contagious laugh. She was smart, funny, and not afraid to banter. And she hadn't seemed to mind his company too much. Maybe he wasn't quite as awkward as he'd thought. Or at least now after a nice evening.

He finally shook his head and went to his own car. He really was tired. It was time to go home and go to bed so he would actually get up in the morning...

..."Yeah, see, there he goes. Didn't really seem to get into anything, just... kinda looked around like he did before." Ty pointed at the screen as he showed Hal the footage from the night before.

Hal sighed. "Okay. Thanks, Ty. I'll show Sam as soon as she gets here." He swiveled in his chair as Ty left, and just smirked at the monitor. What was Aaron's game?
