As Carson declined the invitation to come in Misty could feel her heart sink. She was hoping if she had asked and temped him with cookies and coffee he would but it seemed that was a no go. She was disappointed but was going to try not to let it rune her time with Mac.

Just smiling as Mac and Carson said goodbye she couldn't help but see in some ways how the looked very much alike. Which made sense but was not something she noticed before. 

Watching Carson go Misty tried not to let the sadness in her eyes show as she turned to Mac and gave a small nod. He did look tired all the time and it made her feel badly. She wished things were different, had turned out different. 

Having Mac come inside and closing the door she smiled nodding to the steps.
   
   "It kind of cluttered, haven't had the time to throw some stuff away but you can use the guest room. If it bothers you to much you can sleep in my room with me."

Making her way to the kitchen again she turned and smiled walking backwards.

   "Hurry up and put your stuff up there or I am going to eat all this extra cookie dough myself."

 Entering Aaron's room Sam just stood there for a long moment. She was going to check on him and see if he needed anything before she ran out to the store. But seeing him on the ground half under the bed she had no idea what on earth he was doing and to be honest it was quite a funny sight.

   "Did you lose something? If you'd ask I could of gotten it for you."

Playing with the ice in her glass for a long second before looking up at Hunter. The closer they got to the ranch the more nervous she got, but thanks to Hunter she was getting more excited too. 

   "I think that's nice he wants to make sure we make our way, ok. Means he cares."

Taking another bite of her club sandwich Ryan mulled over how Hunter had said the ranch took him i like there own. She wondered if that would happen with her too. It had been a long time since she had a parent type person in her life, and she wondered if it would feel odd.  She was just happy that Hunter was going to be there with her, and they had become close enough that it wasn't awkward.

   "Maybe you'll even get me on a horse. Still unsure about that, but maybe. Did you ride a lot when you were there before?"
