Guard Up

Sitting at the fountain not to far away Nate had his phone out and was boping his head to what most people would think was music. He had his sun glasses on as he leaned back and just enjoyed the warm sun. It would be a nice day if they didn't have more pressing matters at the moment.

"Everything is so far so good here. Not to many people so at least we wont have to deal with that. I just hope this guy shows up."

Nate gives a nod and smiled falling silent as a couple that passed by. Having the park be mostly empty meant less chance for chaos. Shifting again Nate tried to get a little more comfortable. Who know how long they might really be here.

"Keep you eyes open, and your guard up. We only have one shot at this."

Biting the top of a piece of broccoli Katie looked across at Jason while also keeping and eye out. She didn't like the thought of this at all. Knowing Jason was going to get shot again it was different from just keeping an eye out. She hoped it worked though and all of this could end.

"I know it does. I have this horrible feeling in my gut and I dont like it."

Reaching across the table and taking Jason's hand Katie rubbed her fingers on his palm trying to give him a reassuring smile. They had to stay positive.

"It's going to be over soon and than we wont have to worry about hiding anymore. Just hang in there a little while longer ok."

Feeling her Uncles arms around her Bree just fell into them and the tears continued. She didn't answer him right away she just continued to cry. Her head pounded, her heart hurt and she felt so lost. Why had he done this after there amazing time last night. It just made it hurt even more.

Finally pulling away a little bit Bree reached into her pocket and pulled out the later. There was no denying what it said and implied no matter how much she didn't want it too.

"He left this note. We gotta find him...he cant be out there alone in his condition."
