Less Boring

Hunter was surprised by the knock at the door, but when he answered it, he chuckled. "Come on in. I hardly think it's cleaner though. You couldn't have done too much damage in the last couple hours."

He had ordered a bottle of pop too, and there were cups and ice from the hotel. He opened the pizza box and took a couple slices before sliding into the bed to sit crosslegged, tucking his bare feet under his knees. He nodded to the rest of the bed. "Best seat in the house. Shoulda gotten a suite," he teased. "At least we woulda had a table."

He took a bite of pizza and sighed with content. He'd just ordered the whole thing with light sauce and didn't mind a bit. "I'm thinking...find a good movie on tv, then try out the pool a little later."

Hal laughed again, his eyes twinkling. "I think I could handle that." He took a sip of coke, eying Sam with a smile. "Makes the days less boring." He meant it - she gave him something besides monitors to worry about, and truth be told, he enjoyed being needed when it came to advice about Aaron.

Finishing up the meal, a little more small talk was inserted, altho it mostly came back around to work since that was their main thing in common.

Hal pushed his plate aside and glanced around, finding where there were a couple dart boards and pool tables. He gave Sam a glace. "Well...wanna find out how bad I am at darts?"
