Alone

As Ryan's eyes adjusted to the dark and she saw Hunter move about and lift the covers she was hesitant for a moment but finally moved to lay down next to him. She could of been happy just sitting there knowing he was next to her but as he draped his arm around her his warmth just comforted her. 

Not being able to help it soft tears fell from her eyes. Her dream still invaded her mind, tonight it was a dream of Alec, and a dream of being alone that scared her. From Alec dying, to Tal leave, to so much lose she had in her life. One day Eli would get married to Scarlet and leave, and after this trip Hunter would go back to his life too. How alone her felt, something that had never bothered her before seemed so real now.

Bringing her hands to Hunter's she pulled them tighter to at least have him there now. His soft words hit her ear and warmed her. If anyone was to catch them Ryan could only imagen the thoughts that would run through there mind, but at this moment she didn't care. She didn't feel threatened by Hunter, and something just told her it was ok, and she was safe right there. Locking her fingers with his she sniffed, and didn't wipe her tears away but did her best to try and calm herself. At least for tonight, she was safe wrapped in Hunter's warmth that seemed to chase the shadows away.

Just watching the TV feed Sam thought for a long moment watching as Aaron limped about. Listening to Hal at the same time she tried to figure out and read what Aaron was doing. Was it really just the fact this made him feel like he had freedom or was there more?!

   "You don't think by any chance is he looking for an our so when his leg is a little better he can book it to do? Like seeing if there is a break in the camera feed, or a shift change or anything like that? Sometimes just doesn't set right with me about this but I can't put my finger on it."

Taking a sip of her coffee her eyes still darted from one monitor to another. Something did feel off though she didn't know what. Looking to Hal again she gave a small smile.

   "Can you keep Ty watching him at night? I don't know what hes doing but it just doesn't feel right. I might need to talk with Garret again and see if he can shed any light."
