The Right Thing

Angel just stood back and let Lane talk with Travis. She was upset but it was his son and she just needed to sit back and wait. Continuing to listen she just wished Travis would understand better. Lane and Travis were both upset and shouting that nothing was sinking it. It was hard, and Angel new it. She’d been though her share of hard time with Wendy and new it never got easier.

When the shouting started to quiet just a little and Angel saw the look on Lane’s face maybe now she could talk a little. Coming over to Travis she kept her voice soft but stern resting her hand on his shoulder.

“Travis your dad just cares about you, and what happens to you. Wont you try and understand a little?”

Leaning into Eric a little Stacy let out a sigh. She couldn’t believe how upset she was and how stressed out. Looking up at Eric and searching his face for a long moment. She knew he cared for Ashlee and an important part of their life. He was the only father figure she had, and she appreciated he wanted to help and step into that roll.

“I don’t mind if you talk to her at all. Maybe she will listen to you better. At the moment she hates me, and this place. I hope I did the right thing.”
