As Garret wiped everything clean Nate watched before taking the keys and heading out. He felt so horrible, a sicking feeling in his stomach. Nate didn't know what was going to happen next but he was ready to fight for Garret he really was.
Getting into the SUV and starting forward Nate drove, but just a little slower than normal. Glancing over at Garret for a moment he than looked back at the road. He had the note tucked in his pocket to show Reese when they got back to the Elite but there were still holes in the story Nate needed to know.
"So, in the note it says Scott blackmailed you. What did he blackmail you with?"
If he was going to try and help Garret he needed to know everything. It would be the only way to go in knowing every angle. Any detail could make or break everything.
Looking up at Jason through the mirror Hope she her head before looking down at Scott again for a second. Just running her hand over his cheek again. Even if he wasn't totally with them maybe she could still bring a little comfort.
"He said the guy Carson was looking for was Harris, number three-twenty-eight. I'm sure you know what he is talking about better than I do, but he said Carson needed to know."
The next minutes seemed to drag on, and it felt like forever till they pulled into the Elite once again. Letting Jason take Scott Hope followed close just keeping her hand in Scott's. As much as she should let go, she didn't want to not yet.
Getting to the infirmary Hope looked at Misty and Rick. Her emotions were starting to show now that they were back as she did her best to keep it together still.
"He's been through the upgrade, his breathing is shallow, and he's coming in and out of it. That's about all I can tell you at the moment."
Thinking for a moment and remembering the accident that Hunter was in Ryan gave a nod. Hunter had been a lot different back than, much different from how he was now. Now...Ryan just felt comfortable around him. Did this ranch he spoke of really help? Could one single place to that? It must be pretty amazing if it did.
"I've never been around a horse, or at a ranch before. I bet it's a lot different than here, quiet, peaceful."
Hearing about Hunter's ex-girlfriend Ryan couldn't help but be surprised a little. Hunter seemed so different, not to mention he was pretty good looking it was hard to believe the woman would have left him, but maybe it was the other way around. As curious as she was Ryan new it was not her place to ask more. At least not now when there friendship was so new still.
"That's really nice they consider you part of there family, even if it is a little awkward. I think even blood family's go through the awkward moments."
